Angela Akins Garcia was basically in some form of obscurity until her marriage to Sergio Garcia, a sports legend, brought her in the spotlight. therefore, there is a lack of information on her personal life prior to the time she got married the pro golfer. It is known that Angela Garcia was born the year 1985 but not the month or day. Angela Akins Gracia developed a passion for sports as when she was a child and eventually decided to play golf. After taking several lessons, the Angela Akins Gracia was able to master the art of a calm and powerful swing. She became more experienced as she grew older and won more than eight championships as a student in high school. Garcia was the captain of Mable Falls High School's high school team and led them to 3rd place in the regional competition in 2003. The team then finished 6th in the year 2006, being the 6th-placed team. It is clear that Garcia is a very accomplished golfer. She has over 17 medals in her collection on a national scale. In addition, she is a proud member of the Women's Texas Golf Association. After graduating from highschool, Garcia attended Texas Christain University for a number of years. She later transferred to the University of Texas. In the university, she had the opportunity to compete on a greater scale and her skills grew as time went by. Angela Akin Garcia, despite the fact she found happiness and satisfaction as a professional golfer, has never dreamed of pursuing the career. In the end, she pursued the field of journalism. When she finished her degree in journalism, she was hired with Fox Sports Southwest as a journalist.
